I was looking for an en entertainimg place to listen to some music and stopped by anot 18:00 to check out JazzIt. The place has just opened and Daniel was behind the bar. We chatted for a few minutes and he told me that there was going to be a collection of musicians from Mozarteun University, Salzburg that would be performing at JazzIt that night around 20:30. I had not had dinner and Daniel recommended Tida Thai Restaurant just down the street. It was take out only at that time so I enjoyed my Thai meal with a beer in the outside garden at Jazzit before the show. Sometime around 20:30 a huge group of musicians playing music paraded into the club and set up for the show. Everyone there was treated to mini-festival of live jazz and brass performances by a variety of musician each of which were introduced then played two or three songs each, to well deserved, huge applause. The two bartenders that I chatted with there, were also delightful. All in all, a wonderful evening! If you're looking for a delightful evening of music, entertainment and friendly people, stop by Jazzit during your visit to Salzburb!

Nice low key place for jazz in cinema style seating. Choose artists to listen to wisely. Our experience was jazz that was not to our liking as it seemed non traditional and some lasted 15-20 minutes.
